Once you place an order online, it is classed as an offer. By proceeding through the ‘checkout process’ you agree to these Terms and Conditions. You are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by Harveys of Hythe, will result in a binding contract.

Your completion of the checkout process does not, however, constitute Harveys of Hythe's acceptance of your order. Payment will be taken from your debit/credit card and a confirmation of receipt of your order will be emailed to you. Acceptance of your order and the formation of a contract between you and Harveys of Hythe will take place on receipt of your confirmation. Unless Harveys of Hythe has notified you that they do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it (Click here for more information).

Whilst your debit/credit card will, therefore, be debited before the contract is formed, if your order is ultimately rejected, a full refund will be made immediately.
If for some reason you do not receive an email confirmation receipt of your order, yet your credit/debit card has been debited, please notify Harveys of Hythe without delay.

Pricing includes VAT (where applicable) at the current rate. Prices may be updated periodically and this may affect orders already in the system. If so, Harveys of Hythe will inform you of the revised price before dispatching your order; you may then choose to accept or decline the order.

Personal and credit/debit card details supplied by you must be correct and valid. You most also be authorised to use the payment method.

Payment is carried out through secure gateways using SSL via WIX Payments or PayPal. They are both established companies that accept all major credit and debit cards. Whilst Harveys of Hythe tries to ensure that all prices on their website are accurate, errors may occur. If they discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, they will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If they are unable to contact you, they will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances a replacement cheese of equal quality and value will be used in your order. Harveys of Hythe will inform you about the replacement and seek acceptance from you. 

All cut & pieced cheeses are cut fresh by hand so variations will occur. Whole cheeses which are made by hand may vary in either or all of the following: size, colour and weight. Where a weight is specified these are listed as approximate. Cheeses may weigh differently but Harveys of Hythe will try to ensure the total weight of the order overall is adhered to.
